Scope and Implementation
Our Corporation has drafted this Privacy and Cookies Policy (the “Policy”) to let you know what kind of information we collect, how it is handled, and with whom it may be shared.
This Policy applies only to the processing of personal information carried out by Company Corporation as a data controller, including on the Company website and other related websites
we have linked to this Policy. Processing by other affiliated entities or third parties may be governed by separate privacy policies, and we recommend that you review the privacy
policies of those entities.
We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with this Policy, the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable data protection and privacy laws.
(1) Data We Receive Directly from Your Activities
The personal information collected and held about you includes but is not limited to:
- your name, address, email address, age, gender, tax file number, citizenship, contact information;
- payment details, such as your credit card details;
- details of service or product undertaken with us;
- other information provided voluntarily by you, for example in response to surveys or competitions.

How do we collect your personal information?
We collect personal information about you in a number of ways, including:

- Order our service or product;

- Organisation's commercial partners;
- other government departments and agencies;
- social media sites such when you contact or otherwise engage with Organisation through these social media sites; and
Where we engage with you multiple times over a short period in relation to the same matter, we may not provide you with a separate notice about privacy each time we engage with you.
(2) Guidelines for Your Data Management
We use the information you provide when placing an order to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except:
- To the extent necessary to complete that order, or to provide Services where an outside party is acting on our behalf and has no independent right to use the information we provide (e.g., third-party shipping, business analytics, or customer support), or
- To successors in title to our business or as otherwise necessary in connection with a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of Organisation or the merger of Organisation into another entity or any consolidation, share exchange, combination, reorganization, bankruptcy, liquidation or like transaction in which Organisation is not the survivor, or
- In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements or to enforce or defend our legal rights, or
- As necessary, at our sole discretion, to protect the perceived rights, safety and property of Organisation, the users of our System, and the public.
The audio recordings generated by your use of Organisation products, Services and/or the System will be used by Organisation solely for the purpose of product development and
enhancement.
Other than as set out above, you will be notified when Personal Information about you will be shared with third parties, and you will have an opportunity to elect not to have us share
such information.
We may send you emails with marketing materials. If you would no longer like to receive information, newsletters, or other promotional messages from us, please follow the instructions
accompanying a particular communication or contact us. Your email address will be removed from our marketing list.
We also use information in aggregate form (so that no individual user is identified) for the following purposes:
- For marketing analytics
- To aid strategic development
- To audit usage of the System
(3) Third-party Site Links
We may team with a marketing agency or another website to conduct a sweepstakes or other event. In this case, each of the participating third parties may collect or receive personal
information from you if you provide information directly to them. Therefore, you should refer to their privacy policies to understand how they handle your information and what kinds of
choices you have.
Company may also share your personal information with outside companies that perform services for Company. For example, we may retain an outside company to manage a database containing
certain customer information, to create and distribute an email offering, or to process and respond to your inquiries and requests. When we work with an outside party, we require that
these parties agree to process your personal information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy. We will take appropriate steps designed to ensure your information
will be used solely to provide the services requested by us, and not for other purposes. It is our policy to neither disclose personal information, nor to sell such information to third
parties for direct marketing purposes.

or swap this information, nor will we authorize any of our service providers or business partners to use this information for their own commercial purposes without your permission.
Information Shared by Us
- Service Providers: In the course of doing business, we employ other companies and individuals to perform a variety of functions on our behalf. For example, we may provide information as necessary to companies that host our Online Platforms or send communications on our behalf. These service providers may have access to information about you if it is needed to perform their functions for us, but they are not authorized by us to use or disclose such information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements, and they are required to maintain the information in confidence.
- Legally Required: We reserve the right to disclose information if required to do so by law or by a regulatory authority, including those that regulate higher education. We may also disclose information as part of an investigation or enforcement action relating to improper or illegal conduct in connection with our Online Platforms or other products, including, without limitation, any situations that may potentially involve threats to the safety or privacy of any person or misuse of our Online Platforms.
- Aggregated and Non-Identified Data: We may maintain and use aggregate data or other non-identified information (i.e., data that does not identify a specific individual), such as usage statistics, device data, online traffic patterns, and user feedback. In addition to using this information for the purposes discussed in this privacy statement, we may disclose such aggregated or non-identified data to third parties without restriction.
- Business Partners: Organisation may securely share your information with our business partners, such as local advertisers who pay for banner ads on Organisation Online Platforms and vendors who coordinate the collection of donations to the university. These business partners may use the information received by them to contact you to offer you certain opportunities, products, services, or promotions. Once your information has been shared with a business partner, it is no longer subject to the control of Organisation or subject to this privacy statement, however Organisation requires its business partners to maintain appropriate data security.
